What is a PTSA? What does it do?

PTA stands for Parent Teacher Association.  PTSAs allow students to join the Association. We are the Alice Vail Falcons PTSA! Students can join our unit and have an active voice and vote in determining the direction and actions of our Association.

The Alice Vail Falcons PTSA was created to identify and assist in filling unmet needs in the school, foster community by developing projects and social events. We encourage parents, teachers/staff, students and community members to who are interested in making the Alice Vail Middle School community positive and strong to join us.

Our PTSA is under the umbrella the ArizonaPTA and National PTA that on behalf the interests of its members addresses and advocates regarding state and national issues, situations or concerns that affect children and youth.

PTA is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit association that prides itself on being a powerful voice for all children, a relevant resource for families and communities, and a strong advocate for public education. Membership in PTA is open to anyone who wants to be involved and make a difference for the education, health, and welfare of children and youth.
